How to install OS X Mavericks (10.9) on Macbook Air
Square show you how to successfully (and safely!) install Mavericks from the Mac App Store from Mountain Lion (10.8)
Please be aware that the process will be identical on machines upgrading from 10.6 or later (not upgradable from 10.5 or earlier). Whilst it's 100% important and recommended that you backup your data before making the leap, please also take the time to double check compatibility of your apps.
