Xcode 5 Login ViewController Orientation Lock - Prevent Rotation - Part 5/5
Setup your view controllers to display in portrait or landscape orientations. You can control the display of new ViewController screens so that they can force a particular orientation.
Sometimes you don't want a screen to rotate, or you want to display a modal screen in portrait only (i.e. tutorial screens). You can use the logic described in the video with the shouldAutorotate and preferredInterfaceOrientationForPresentation methods in your UIViewController subclass.
