pigeon poop
the universe sent me a pigeon... that pigeon pooped on my balcony. had that pigeon pooped on my head I would have seen it as a token of good fortune. but it didn't, so this is a cautionary tale. maybe it's a crude reminder that life will throw unexpected heaps of shit at you and you must find a way to power through it. perhaps it’s a message about leaving your mark on other people's lives just as this pigeon has done on mine. maybe it is a sign that we are all living beings going through similar cycles of life, and though we may feel it at times, we are not alone in our struggles. perhaps it is an assertion of nature's dominance, warning us with its unpredictable presence that it is still here, still unimpressed, and still in control of a world that takes it for granted. or maybe, maybe... it is just pigeon poop.
