These animations were created as part of an experimental research project with graduates Studio Goblin and Sophie (ASMRPlanet).
This project grew out of earlier animations the IdeasFactoryNUA developed, that connected students to the NUA Student Support team if they were feeling anxious.
We are working with Dr Giulia Poerio at the University of Essex, to find out how they work, and whether using animation brings benefits that are not seen in other types of ASMR. Giulia’s previous research has been about the physical and psychological effects of ASMR.
