I printed the same photo on both HP premium plus soft gloss paper and Canon pro platinum paper, using the same dye based printer, the Canon pro 100. My results are shown in the video, I'm switching to the HP paper, giving up no quality but I will save 22% in my photo paper cost.
Finally, from our fellow photographers in Europe, when they sell a photograph they emboss it in the lower right hand corner with a seal similar to what a notary would use here in the U.S.
