In this video, first, we will learn what the Synthesis of Sentences is?
Synthesis of a Sentence means the combination of two or more simple sentences into one Simple, Compound, or Complex sentence.
And the meaning of this sentence should be identical to the individual sentences.
There are seven ways to form one Simple Sentence from two or more Simple Sentences:
The ways are :
1. Verb where we can use Present Participle, Perfect Participle, or Infinitive.
2. Adjective
3. Noun in Apposition
4 Preposition or Prepositional Phrase
5. Adverb or Adverbial Phrase
6. Conjunction
7. Nominative Absolute
Exercise:
1. He saw a snake. He ran quickly. (Hint: Use Participle)
2. Jay went to Delhi. Delhi is the capital of India. (Hint: Use 'Noun in Apposition')
3. Ankita saw a dog. The dow was barking. (Hint: Use 'Adjective')
Answers:
1. Seeing a snake, he ran quickly.
2. Jay went to Delhi, the capital of India.
3. Ankita saw a barking dog.
