Change default pivot table layout (tabular and repeat all items)
This video will show you how to change the default pivot table layout in Excel. By default created Excel Pivot tables have compact form and do not repeat item labels, also shows expand and collapse button.
You can change to another layout by going in report layout options present in the design tab of Pivot table tools. But one needs to do this again and again for each newly created pivot table.
This video will show you how to make pivot table layout tabular and repeat all items without expand and collapse button as default pivot layout, after changing defaults, new pivot tables will get generated as per the new layout setting.
Note: This feature is available in Excel for Windows if you have Office 2019, or if you have a Microsoft 365 subscription.
