Catz is the second game in the Petz series, originally released in 1996 after the success of Dogz.
Catz comes with five dogs to adopt: Homebody, Jester, Pouncer, Scaredy, Sophisto
Catzz is the second game in the Petz series, originally released as a standalone title in 1996. Unlike its successors, it offers no integration with its sister title Dogz, which was not released until the following year.
In 1999, Catz was ported to the Game Boy Color. The ports were critically panned, citing limited activities, dim graphics, static animations, and how unsuited the game play was for the Game Boy Color console
Sequel game Catz II was released in 1997.
