Sabot and HEAT test on 100 mm armour 20° inclination.
100 mm armour plate at 20° inclination gives 290 mm of armour depth for a projectile to penetrate.
This plate was tested by the Swedish military with a range of different ammunitions and from different weapons.
The 2 major damages in the middle are on the left
105 mm strv 101-104, Centurion gun, APDS, no penetration at 1500m
On the right, the big hole, is the same 105 mm gun
but with a more modern APFSDS sabot, clean penetration at 2000 m.
All the small holes are HEAT projectiles shot from 90 mm Pvpj 1110 recoilless rifle at 800 m, with different HEAT rounds
One shot from Ikv 91, 90 mm HEAT
Also 2 Bantam, Rb 53, Anti-tank missile, also HEAT.
