In conclusion to our Daz to Blender Animation Tutorial series, we will finally look at how to apply motion capture (or mocap) to our Daz 3D characters.
In the last video, we saw how to import our Daz 3D character into Blender 3D. We did some preparation for our character to receive keyframe information from another armature. We will briefly review that here and then look at how to use Auto Rig Pro to apply the body motion capture data from a BVH file. In this case, the BVH file came from Axis Studio/Perception Neuron, but that shouldn't be a major factor in our process.
After the body mocap data is applied, we will use the Diffeomorphic importer plugin to pull mocap data for the face without wiping out the previous data.
