Russia Used Taiga Grid-Equipped Interceptor Drones in Ukraine, Review
We publish footage of the real combat work of Russian interceptor drones armed with the Taiga net launcher. The military chronicle was filmed near the village of Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk region, now this is the largest archive of interceptor drones that has been published online. The interceptor drones are used by the anti-aircraft missile battery, the 1442nd motorized rifle regiment, the 6th motorized rifle division, and the 3rd army corps. As reported, thanks to the use of drones with the Taiga device, it was possible to gain a tactical advantage in this area and the activity of Ukrainian drones decreased to almost zero. It is worth noting that the Taiga device was already copied in September and is also being produced in Ukraine, it intercepted 5 drones of the Russian army. There are also American analogues, we showed them earlier. In the drone war, and this can already be called so, with the help of the net-thrower "Taiga" 470 drones were intercepted for the amount of 130 million rubles, mainly drones manufactured by DJI, 9 agrodrones of the "Baba Yaga" type were also intercepted. Now drones armed with nets are the most effective means of combating drones, effective electronic warfare systems that cover all frequencies have not yet been created. Judging by the information from the network, the net-thrower "Taiga" is manufactured by the Russian company INMATTEN, surprisingly, against the background of current prices for military products, it is quite cheap, its price is 25,000 rubles. The weight of the "Taiga" device is 270/350 g, depending on the type of net. The net-thrower "Taiga" turned out to be successful, thanks to the interaction of developers with military personnel. Which does not happen often. The Taiga net launcher is simple, essentially it is a pyrotechnic cartridge and a net that is attached to a drone, so far only to DJI drones. The drone hovers over another drone and the pyrotechnic cartridge shoots a net with weights, the net has a diameter of 3.6 meters, thus intercepting the drone. Intercepted drones are then picked up and repaired, it is worth noting that DJI drones are quite expensive. Below is an overview of the Taiga device with a net and its combat use in Ukraine.
