Greta Gerwig, director of the latest film adaptation of "Little Women," said she compared her birth chart with the one belonging to Louisa May Alcott, the author of the beloved novel, as part of the research for her film.Gerwig said she and Alcott have similar birth charts -- diagrams of astrological features present at the time of one's birth that purport to reveal aspects of a person's personality and destiny."My chart is less lonely. She was on a path more alone, and I think that's because she was more alone in her time," Gerwig said. "And I feel like one of the pleasures of being able to make work now is being in a community of female artists telling these stories."
