Pointless Announcement! New Series - VCR [Videogame Classic Reviews]
Hopefully one of the only announcement videos I'll ever do! ..Unless you guys like hearing me talk, I really don't mind.
Long story short, my Semi-Casual Gaming videos are a pain in the ass to produce, and I don't care for the non-stop slapstick humor. I'm proud of the videos, and I've greatly appreciated all the positive feedback, really! But with my current obligations, it's time for a new style of video that I can focus on a little easier.
That being said, I'm starting a new series of videos called VCR, or Videogame Classic Reviews. The acronym is pretty meaningless, but you can possibly think of it as "games that were popular during the reign of VHS" ... or something.
Either way, the videos will be more gameplay focused, while still retaining some humorous elements within the commentary. It's just that comedy won't be the primary goal anymore. Entertainment will still be, though! But I'd like these to be more traditional, so to speak.
I'll be uploading a VCR video today (Kaboom for the Atari 2600), and I also hope to have more coming down the pipeline fairly regularly moving forward.. so hopefully that's something to be mildly excited about!
