Mechanical Sympathy and Learning with CodeCrafters
Mechanical Sympathy is the idea that we can better use technology by understanding how it works. CodeCrafters is a coding challenge platform that focuses on deeper challenges and avoids giving you all the answers. You can build things like a Redis clone, DNS server, or HTTP Server (from a TCP listener) and there are many other projects out there. It's my belief that challenges like the ones shared on CodeCrafters can help you become a better engineer as building these solutions will help you have a better understanding of how they work, and ultimately allow you to use these tools more effectively in your day to day, too.
