Fixing the misfire on my Land Rover Series III: ignition system overhaul
My ex-military (British Army) Land Rover Series 3 was running very poorly, with bad misfires and black smoke. I changed most of the ignition system components and it now runs really smoothly.
I've also been assessing the extent of the rust on the chassis, doors, bulkhead and footwell - the driver footwell will need welding, unfortunately.
I've started stripped back 40 years' of paint to see what I will need to do prep-wise before re-spraying it.
