You can recreate that fake lead guitar synth patch using only devices that come stock with ANY Ableton Live edition, including Lite which I am using. All you need is one of its synths - in my case, Drift is all I get, a formant filter - which can be created by stacking a couple of instances of Auto Filter on top of one another - and some sort of guitar amplifier - but really any kind of distortion can work, including Saturator. Then you can further enhance your sound with some extra FX like delay etc., which I'll also go through at the end of this tutorial.
