The raw module in Ansible is a built-in module that allows you to execute arbitrary commands on a remote host. It is typically used when no other Ansible module exists for a specific task, or when you want to run a command that is not idempotent (meaning it doesn't have the same result when run multiple times). The raw module takes a single argument, the command to be executed, and returns the output of that command on the remote host.
