In this tutorial, I show how to quickly and easily get your old projects up and running with Datasmith in UE4 and the Unreal Studio / datasmith plugin. I migrate / import a first person shooter level, but VR levels can also be migrated (or any other type of project). This is a good way to integrate in the new capabilities with older projects, or to add capabilities to the Unreal Studio template, which is pretty minimal at this point. Datasmith is an essential tool for your architecture projects / arch viz, so you will want to have the capabilities it allows.

Software:
Original Scene created in Autodesk 3ds Max, updated in 3ds Max 2018
Realtime in Unreal Engine 4.7
Migrated to Epic Games Unreal Engine 4.19 preview 6 with Unreal Studio and the Datasmith plugin installed (Open Beta)
