How to Change the API SDK Version in Android Studio
If your project needs to be updated to the latest SDK, it is often sufficient to change the targetSDK and compileSDK values in the build.gradle(Module) file.
If the latest SDK is not downloaded into Android Studio yet, go to the Android SDK section in System Settings and check the checkbox for the desired version.
