WAYBACK Hike Baldy Devil’s Backbone.
Hello everyone! Today we do a wayback video from a hike I took up Mount Baldy, via the Devil’s Backbone! This is one of the more popular trails because the trail is not too challenging other than the elevation gain, at least for the first half, up to Baldy Lodge. The real challenge begins after the lodge, with your rise to the actual Devil’s Backbone and the treacherous trail that takes you to Mount Harwood. The actual backbone is about 4-6 feet of ridge with steep drops on either side. As long as you stay in the middle you’ll be okay, but the sides can look scary. The views on the way up are truly spectacular… you need to come up here at least once!
