Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery Fellow Janki Shah, MD, discusses her day-to-day fellowship activities at the Mount Sinai Health System. These include: conferences, imaging review, didactics and skull base case reviews with the multidisciplinary team. She covers rounding, checking with patients in the pre-op area and reviewing the OR for equipment and imaging. Shirley Hu, MD, Chief Resident of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is also featured in this video, discussing her collaboration with Dr. Shah on various inflammatory sinus and skull base cases. The fellowship offers a broad exposure to complex sinonasal and skull base pathology, as well as a wide spectrum of cases, ranging from advanced sinus surgery including endoscopic approaches, and dissection of orbital, skull base and intracranial tumors.
