In this video today we will see how to move apps to the SD card in android device. If you are trying to install apps in android device and if you get the message that you don’t have enough space left in your android device then you can transfer the apps to the SD card so that you can install a new app in your android device.
Now let me remind you that you can only move apps which you have installed to the SD card. You can not move which comes pre installed without rooting the device.
To move the apps to the SD card at first let us insert the SD card to the android device if not or else if you have already installed the SD card then backup the contents in the SD card because you need to format the SD card for this process.
For Samsung note, I will go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and go to “Device care”.
Select “Storage”.
Scroll down and select “SD card”.
Tap on the three dotted icons on the upper right corner.
Go to “Storage settings”.
Select “SD card”.
Select “Format”.
Select “Forma SD card”.
Now once you have formatted your SD card then we will again go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and go to “Apps”.
Select the app which you want to move.
For example I will tap on “messenger”.
Select “Storage”.
Select “Change”.
Select “SD card”.
Select “Move”.
Now you may see that not all the apps can’t be moved to the SD card as it required internal storage to run unless you root your android device.
