Howard Menger - Authentic Music From Another Planet (1957)
"Authentic Music From Another Planet" is an LP recorded by UFO contactee Howard Menger in the late 1950s. Menger was purportedly contacted in the 1940s and 1950s by beings from Venus and Saturn, the latter of which is said to have played him music on an instrument similar to that of a piano. This Saturnian being is said to have shown Menger music from other worlds, and instructed him to bring it to the attention of the masses by playing it on the piano. Menger is said to have had no musical training but began playing the piano frequently following this contact, often for hours at a time, all while being guided by this being from another world.
The A-side of the record features narration by Menger as well as two interpretations of the music played to him by the Saturnian; the B-side is a longer piece played by Menger while guided by the Saturnian being.
