Air travel could break Labor Day weekend record
If you’re packing your suitcase for the Labor Day weekend, you’ll have lots of company.
This is expected to be the busiest Labor Day travel period ever for U.S. airlines.
According to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), agents expect to screen more than 17 million passengers between Thursday and next Wednesday.
Travelers will also hit the highways in big numbers. According to the American Automobile Association (Triple-A), this Labor Day weekend will be the busiest in a couple of years. It coincides with opening weekend of the college football season.
