In order to make the R Programmer understand and fall in love with the language and know that coercion rules and missing value handling in R can be a blessing, I made a video to showcase how understanding the coercion rules can simplify R code when compared with Python – another popular programming language for data science.

In this video, we compare how these two programming languages – R and Python deal with a task of validating the argument passed to a function. The video introduces you to a good distinction between the two languages. That is, in cases where Python returns error, R returns a value.
