NEW Technique to Show Model Metadata
It’s now possible to use the INFO() expressions in calculated tables in Power BI, meaning we can show our model data to report viewers and “auto-document” our models. This lets us show measure descriptions, measure expressions, column descriptions, table descriptions, and more. We can even do this contextually with field parameters!
This video includes important context about the “something went wrong” and “an unexpected error has occurred” that can happen related to the info.measures query in the October 2024 release.
