Most people thing long division is boring and tedious, but when you understand the math that's going on behind the scenes, it's actually pretty cool! And, when you think about subtraction as the alternative, long division is actually a shortcut!

In this video, we travel back in time to a pioneering village without calculators. They've got a division problem they need our help with, so we'll talk all about long division; how it works and why it works.
