ORCHESTRA OF THE MILITARY FORCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA was founded in 1945. The orchestra regularly performs at various official, military-ceremonial and cultural events in India and abroad. In particular, he took part in the shows and music festivals in Bangladesh, Great Britain, Mauritius, Russia, Seychelles. In the repertoire of the collective there are different in the direction and genre of musical works: from modern to classical foreign and national compositions, as well as military songs and marches. Over the years of concert activity, the orchestra received a well-deserved recognition of foreign and Indian fans of wind music. The leader of the orchestra, Lieutenant Pradeep Kumar (born 1982), began his musical career at the age of six, performing in a church choir, then graduated from the military musical school in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
