How to fix that DANG TETHER on NON-DEDI SERVERS (PC)| Ark Survival Ascended
Edit: WARNING: I am getting some reports of this not working on various platforms. I don't know why. I don't know if it's user error or some kind of built-in limitation. I can't test on other PC's or on consoles, just on mine. Even when it does work, some are saying it seems to be more limited than it was in ASE. THIS ISN'T MY FAULT SO STOP YELLING AT ME ABOUT IT PLEASE! I was just trying to share some info to help people. Apparently it DOES work for some people. I'm sorry if you are one of the unlucky ones. Feel free to let us know if it does or does not work for you, along with what platform you are on and whether you just used the slider, or tried typing in a higher number. This is all very useful data.
The tether is always going to be a thing on non-dedi because it's essentially multiplayer mode that you are hosting on your own machine, which is not as powerful as a professional server. If you'd like to rent a server, check out one of my other videos on how to set one up. There is never a tether of any kind on a rented server.
