Tari Gebyar Barong by Mira & Deena IACS BSBI 2021
In September 2021, our Lestari girls Mira & Deena were accepted into the Indonesian Arts & Culture Scholarship (IACS) also known as Beasiswa Seni Budaya Indonesia (BSBI), where they studied traditional Indonesian art and culture specifically from Banyuwangi for 2.5 months.
Here is their final assessment video, performing Tari Gebyar Barong. A traditional dance from East Java taught by Sanggar Lang Lang Buana, Banyuwangi.
