This video shows how to translate an infographic image file from English to Japanese.
The image translation tool I’m using here is redaka.co.
It automatically removes text and replaces it in a new language using Google Translate in the backend.
There are 4 steps to the process:
Step 1: Upload your image and select which areas of text you want to translate.
Step 2: Confirm the source and target language for your translation.
Step 3: The tool will automatically remove the text from the image and magically fill in the background. If there are blemishes left behind you can clean them up using the “inpaint” brush. Inpainting is the technology used to remove any blemishes, blotches or unwanted objects from a photo.
Step 4: The tool should replace the text in the new language in the same place as the original text. You just need to adjust the size, colour & font of the new text.
It’s designed to be really easy to use. And is great for translating text inside any type of image. It works with:
Infographics
Image macros
Product Images
Product Explainers
Iconotext
Annotated Images
Captioned Product Images
Text Overlayed Images
