Joy Ngiaw is a Chinese-Malaysian film composer based in Los Angeles, CA. She composed for Apple TV+ and Skydance's debut animation Blush, for which she received an Annie nomination in 2022, and won the 'Best Score for an Animated Short' award at the 2021 Hollywood Music in Media awards. Other recent scores include Walt Disney Animation Studios' Jing Hua and Netflix's June and Kopi. Joy is also nominated for the prestigious 'David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent' by the Society of Composers and Lyricists in 2022. Joy's love for storytelling, and connecting with people has led her to film scoring. Her goal as an artist is to help contribute to meaningful and culturally relevant content that celebrates diversity.
