The sound of a frame drum is so fulfilling and playing it can be very addictive. You literally can't stop grooving. I'm so glad to reunite with this amazing instrument as I didn't possess a frame drum for about 3 years due to my nomadic style of life.
This percussion instrument is a fine ambassador of world music. I didn't study any traditional drumming techniques but instead follow my own path and where improvisation takes me.
The video was recorded in a beautiful place called ASAI Village (Bali), where I was fortunate to stay for a few days. Check out their villas if you are around.
