This was hard. It’s my first time doing guitars on video and mixing but it’s a start and at least I managed to upload on this channel after 2 years. When it comes to mixing I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm proud that the Youtube content id system recognised this as Trivium and demonetized the video instantly 😁 I'm experimenting with stuff and learning that way.
It took a while for this song to grow on me but I think it makes an interesting cover with a lot going on on every instrument. I also thought it was gonna be ez but instead I got rekt by this bussin track fr no cap. ⛔🧢
Back in 2011 my friend Elias introduced me to Trivium. We had just started high school when In Waves came out. We formed our own little garage band with Elias and Juuso and basically the only songs we played were from In Waves and a few from Shogun 👹 So In Waves kind of became my favorite album to practice and play. Later I got an electric guitar and again In Waves was my go to album. Hence the poster on the wall!
It’s safe to say that Trivium has taught me to play or at least they've been a huge part of it 😁 a good reason to start with Trivium. And not to forget the fact that my videos helped Alex Bent to get in the band! (see intro) 🤣🤣
