As for other images, I rendered once with a mask for the perspective plan. It’s interesting playing with shadows and light, I’m trying to find a good way for that. As my hardware it isn’t so good for atmospheric effect directly in 3D I use sunlight to set the direction of light but I render also an indirect light, I simply increase sun size to have a very diffuse light as in a cloudy day and this is exactly what I need and rendering it’s very fast. Once I have two renderings I can freely set shadows and light area as was cloud shadows. I love that!
