Tutorial: Working with FAST 7.0 library and Matlab - Easy library integration steps!
Out there only for wind turbines lovers; researchers NREL a national laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy has created awesome library named FAST (Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures,
and Turbulence).
The library is very flexible and modular.
It can simulate almost anything related to wind turbines with the most practical scenarios. You can simulate conditions which can not be done in Matlab's build in functions/libraries of wind turbine.
Due to this flexibility, FAST library is little bit difficult to integrate with Matlab.
Moreover, it seems like FAST lib designers are not willing to answer these basic questions about integration and installation.
