To fix this issue you first have to open the Huawei PC Manager app that comes pre-installed on all Huwaei Laptops. Then you go to Settings -- Accessibilty -- Keyboard and finally select the Never option.
If you are unable to find these options than first make sure your PC Manager app is up to date. You can check for updates using the same settings button on the top right button.
