Here's the code for ploting magnitude and phase response of function x(t) = e^(2j*pi*50t) using matplotlib in python. You can use the same method for other functions as well.

Matplotlib in-built that are used:
plot() - to plot the continuous fn
xlabel() - to name the x-axis.
ylabel() - to name the y-axis.
title() - to give heading to the graph
show() - to display the plotted graph in a window.
