Passive Low Pass Filter
Looking at the basic performance of a passive (RC) Low Pass filter circuit. The performance is developed from an intuitive understanding of resistance, reactance and potential dividers and then verified experimentally. The use of log scales is used to show the transfer characteristics of the filter and the theoretical corner frequency compared to actual corner frequency as measured. A mathematical approach is not considered. The video is aimed at being able to design and build a working circuit without an in-depth understanding of the theory.
