An Intro to AWS Deployments with OpenTofu, Scalr, & GitHub!
As we continue our #SummerOfRAG series, I want to cover how we can use AWS OpenSearch as a vectorstore, but to save money and time by not having to re-create it manually in the console every time, I want to use OpenTofu (a new open source fork of Terraform) code so that we can very quickly stand up / blow away this vectorstore whenever we’re not using it. As a precursor to that, we’re going to need to cover how we can do this in general. This is a bit more of an intermediate #livecoding stream, but we’ll take it one step at a time and start slowly by creating a simple IAM role.
