The release of the Football Manager 2023 Beta has given us the opportunity to play our first full season and the reviews are… mixed. The full version of FM23 is coming out today so I wanted to let you know what you might be getting yourself into if you happen to take the plunge. I enjoyed my first season in the game, there are definitely some positives, but FM23 has problems.
Do not get me wrong, I will still sink thousands of hours into Football Manager. I am an irredeamable cause, but I hope my experience in FM can help shed some light on WHY people seem to not like this year’s game as much, and how the full release might fix it. If the full release does not fix some of the issues I raise, I shall be back, and if I do, I shall be back, so the story of FM23 is not over, but it has started.
