In this tutorial I'm gonna show you my technique which is basically an updated version of Andrew Kramer's (Video Copilot) brilliant tutorial "Nice Focus Rack Experiment". As always without any plugins!
Unfortunately his tutorial just can be seen with the flash player. And we know what happened with Adobe Flash.
Andrew Kramer published his tutorial 10 years. My tutorial is based on his ideas but I updated it with today's "technologies".
By the way I used built-in Mocha AE to track the footage that is out-of-focus. And it works perfect.
