Matthew is constantly pursuing the latest innovations and best practices in regenerative land management and agroforestry.
His approach to design is heavily influenced by his background in engineering and surveying. After college, Matthew specialized in coastal restoration/development projects throughout Florida, the Caribbean, and Central America.
He has spent much of his career in the field addressing real-world situations and collaborating with people from all walks of life.
He has traveled extensively over the years and developed a passion for tropical fruit hunting. His love for permaculture began in 2008 and he designed his first edible landscape in 2010. Matthew is developing his own 7-acre homestead in Punta Gorda, FL which you can follow on his YouTube channel (What's Ripening?).
