I started developing the mod in 2023 but it was too ambitious for one person to make, so I didn't really make much progress.
It would be about being on a comet which orbit is really eccentric (most of the time is far away, and then it gets REALLLY close to the sun, inspired by the interloper from Outer Wilds lol)
The ice melts or sublimes when it gets close to the sun, and then it freezes back again when it goes far, creating some interesting puzzle ideas..
The idea was to have all sorts of cool things going on like navigating the caves inside to protect yourself from the sun's radiation, slingshotting yourself to the the comet's natural satelite, and derailing the comet by controlling where the gas evaporates from ( maybe even intentionally crashing the comet into the sun, because that's the only way to charge the massive alien battery stored inside the comet, and that energy is needed for some big thing to happen (The story isn't really thought out, but it could be really cool) )
But yeah, I made some songs for it, and this is my favorite one!
I made the OST mostly to act as "concept art" for inspiration, just with music instead of drawings.
I dunno, I really love this track
Every time I worked on something cool I thought I should put this song on the project, but I thought that I should wait for the "perfect" project for this song, but there's really no point in holding on to it, it's just it's own thing
Maybe someone else will appreciate this collection of sounds the same way I do, which would be pretty neat
I could upload the whole OST if ppl wanna hear more (4-5 songs) I really like the outro track too-
