There are now 9 headsets in EFT, which makes life a little confusing when trying to choose the best one! This guide explains the key differences between each headset and ranks them in different categories including price, footsteps and ambience. I was especially impressed with the new ComTac 4 which performed best in both footsteps and ambience categories, though they are by far the most expensive. The ComTac 2 headphones are the 2nd most effective at blocking ambient sounds whilst letting player sounds through, with Sordin and RAC both extremely close 3rd and 4th, respectively. Next is the XCEL, followed by M32 and GSSh with Tactical Sports bringing up the rear (guess it's time for me to change!).
