Here is a tutorial on how to fix Scratch Disks Full error in Photoshop. It may say "Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disks are full." Another error line might say "Could not complete the command because the scratch disks are full."


You can first try "Edit - Purge - All" which erases the history steps.
You can also increase the memory usage for Photoshop and reduce the history states to 10.
Unchecking "Automatically Save Recovery Information" will also free up some memory space used by Photoshop.
If you are still having errors, you can run Disk Cleanup which will free up space.



This should fix the Scratch Disks Full error in Photoshop.
