KINGPIN Cooling TEK-9 ICON Extreme GPU LN2 Container - Unboxing & Overview
Kingpin himself is finally bringing out a brand-new GPU LN2 container to the market that is designed from the ground up for maximum cooling performance when running full pot temperatures on Liquid Nitrogen. The pot was initially designed by our request from the overclocking community, as these latest graphics cards from NVidia can actually run at the maximum temperatures of LN2 so as close to -196c as possible. Usually this far graphics cards have been run between -80 and -160.
The pot will not replace the standard TEK-9 ICON that is still listed on the website, this one will be an additional option combined with GPU Inferno unit for these more extreme cases. You will not gain anything from this container unless you can run at the maximum temperatures as the current design is very good for strict temperature control. The ICON Extreme will support RTX 30 series out of the box and Kingpin will provide additional bracket with more mounting options to support multiple generations like RTX 2080 Ti and similar. I personally requested for larger support to give this pot more value.
