I had a problem with TB16, actually with connecting TB16 via thunderbolt cable to my XPS.

After reinstalling WIN 10 a and installing drivers for dock and thunderbolt from DELL website it was working (couple of hours my effort) ... until I had to disconnect laptom form TB16. When I wanted to connect this dock to laptop the problem was back. PC could not recognize thunderbolt TB16. Many hours (days) i have spent by searching and googling this problem, why my PC cant see the TB16. Many times I was reinstalling drivers, controllers and firmware (bios also with last update)... Sometimes it was successfully connected. When I wanted to reconnect TB16 the problem with connection was back ... and again many hours finding the problem and solution.

I wanted to call the DELL suport. I disconnected the dock and last time connected ... I tried to move with cable... it was working! ... I have made some more tests and it is realy caused by the cable.

If the cable is working wrong after unplugging connector the led light is still lighting ... TB16 thinks that is still connected. When you restart PC and connect thunderbolt it will not work ...it needs to be disconnected correctly
