For all long backpacking trips I always feel like I can prepare properly. But these short trips are so individual. What do I really need to pack? This really depends on how long is the trip? Where are you traveling to? A city, camping? Where are you staying? Do you stay at your friends, family, hotel? Is it a holiday trip or a business trip? Where are you going? How are you travelling? By bus, by car, by train, by plane? Is it an international trip? How will the weather be like? ALL THESE QUESTIONS!!! MY GOD. But yeah, this app called Packr (no add) really really helps you! There is a similar packing list app for Android as I only found Packr on the iphone app store.
