2. 58-year-old comedian Raju Shrivastava passed away today, after struggling for life for almost a month. He had suffered a cardiac arrest while running on a treadmill in a South Delhi gym. His condition remained critical as his brain got damaged due to the heart attack. He underwent angioplasty, after which he didn’t regain consciousness.
3. Newly nominated trustees of the PM CARES Fund are Justice K T Thomas, former Supreme Court judge; former Deputy Speaker Kariya Munda and Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Sons. The PM CARES fund which stands for Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund was created on 27 March 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
